Overview

Our goal is to keep billing simple and transparent so you can focus on getting well. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to the policies below.

Fees & payment

  • Variable fees — Fees vary by region/distance and by service. Current rates are published and may change from time to time.
  • Payment timing — Payment is due at or before the time of service.
  • Accepted methods — Cash, Check, Square (credit/debit/HSA/FSA), Venmo (@Mybackcracker — please do not include health details in the memo).
  • Receipts/Superbills — Available upon request for your records or out-of-network reimbursement.

Insurance

We do not bill insurance directly. You are responsible for payment. Any out-of-network reimbursement is between you and your insurer and is not guaranteed.

Cancellations, rescheduling & late arrivals

  • Notice period — Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
  • Late cancellations/no-shows — May incur a fee up to the full visit charge.
  • Late arrivals — May shorten the visit to keep subsequent appointments on time.

Packages, promotions & credits

  • Terms of offers — Any packages or promotions (if offered) are time-limited and non-transferable unless stated otherwise.
  • Credits/refunds — Prepaid amounts may be credited to future services within a reasonable time frame; refunds are limited to circumstances required by law.

Returned payments & disputes

Returned checks or payment disputes may incur bank/processor fees that are the patient’s responsibility. Please contact us promptly with any billing concerns—we’re happy to help.

Mobile visit logistics (billing-relevant)

  • Travel considerations — Travel time is factored into availability and may affect pricing.
  • Location details — Please provide accurate service address, access/parking details, and ensure a safe, smoke-free work area.
  • Arrival window — Expect a 15-minute arrival window around your scheduled time due to traffic/parking.
